History

The Blender Model Repository was originally hosted on e2-productions, and for several years functioned well. The Xoops module eventually outdated, and submissions and comments weren’t approving regularly.

The BMR was always Sponsored by Optic Empire – Business Web Hosting

In 2012 we commissioned the BMR be converted to wordpress…  AND SO IT WAS. it now allows easy submissions, and downloads!

We are hoping in future artists continue to submit their work.
